Germany x sick!Reader: Fever is a good thing

A sharp pain shot through (reader’s) temple as she sat up in bed.
“Oww~ my head feels like someone drove a knife through it or something.” she moaned in pain.
Even though (reader) was fully aware that she was sick today, she still got up slowly and proceeded to attend to her morning necessities.  
She was determined not about to let this little fever stop her from training with Germany.
Yep! Today was Friday, the day where she would join Germany, Japan and Italy for training!
Despite her fragile-looking body and her frail appearance, (reader) is actually very strong. Thanks to her weak appearance, she is able to help the axis to defeat many of their enemies.
The reason she was pushing herself to get up to train today, is because she wanted to see Germany no matter what.
She had a crush on him ever since she first joined the world’s meeting.
She was frightened by him at first when he banged on the table and shouted in order to regain control in the meeting.  She easily became friends with Italy which she slowly came to met Germany and Japan.
During their times together, (reader) learned that behind that big and tough exterior is a soft and caring interior and that made her fall for him quickly.

She changed quickly and head out after she decided to skip breakfast. She arrived at the spot where they usually train and realised that she was the first one there.
“Wow! I must be really early to have got here before Germany!” she exclaimed loudly.
She sat down to rest her tired body underneath a tree.
“I don’t feel so good…”
(reader) groaned out.
“I think I’ll take a short nap before they arrive.”
she lay her aching body against the rough surface of the tree and quickly fell asleep soon after that.


“Italy!!!!! VAKE UP!”
Germany arrived at Italy’s house and shouted loudly at him. He was sick and tired of Italy being late for his training every time.
“Doitsu~ I don’t-a wanna go training today~”
Italy complained loudly as Germany dragged him out of the house and towards the training spot.
“Italia-kun, if you go training today you will be able to see (reader)-chan.”
Japan reminded Italy as he walked beside them.
“Ve~ bella? I want-a see her~”
Italy lit up immediately and sped off quickly leaving Japan smiling slightly and a surprised Germany.
“hmph! He sure is fast vhen it comes to (reader).”
“Ara? Are you jealous doitsu-san?”
“V-Vhat are you-!”
Germany looked up shocked with a red face and started objecting before stopping. He knew it was no use lying to his Japanese friend. Japan is the only one who knew of his crush for (reader).
He liked how she always try her hardest and also the fact that she is not afraid of him. She would always give him a cheerful morning greeting no matter rain or shine. Just looking at her can make his heart flutter happily.

They soon arrive at the spot and saw both (reader) and Italy asleep under the tree. Germany blushed when he saw (reader) sleeping face.
“She looks so cute vhen she is sleeping… vait! Vhy did I think like that! I sounded like a pervert just now!”
Germany shook that thought away from his head before walking towards them to wake them up.
During training, he realised that (reader) was slightly slower than usual and her breathing was slightly off today. He was about to walk over to check on her when she suddenly swayed heavily and started to fall towards the ground.
His eyes widened in shock as he rushed forward (reader) and caught her in the nick of time before she could ‘kiss’ the ground. As he caught her in his arms, he noticed that she was burning up!
“Ve~ Doitsu~ what’s-a wrong with bella?”
Both Italy and Japan stopped running and started to rush towards Germany and (reader).
“She is running a terrible fever. Today training stops here! I vill bring her back with me to my house.”
Germany looked up with a worried face as he carried (reader) up in bridal style and started to run home.
Italy was stopped by Japan just as he was about to follow Germany home. His eyes widened in shocked and surprised when Japan had told Italy about Germany’s feeling and that they should leave her alone with him for now.
Italy nodded swiftly, happy that his friend had found a girl that he likes. Honestly speaking, he was getting worried that Germany might be gay!
He shuddered slightly at the thought before inviting Japan to his house for pasta

----- At Germany’s home -----

Germany carried (reader) up towards his bedroom and lay her down gently on his bed. She was panting deeply and her body was covered in sweat.
Germany regretted for not being able to sense that there was something wrong with (reader) this morning. He had noticed that her face was a darker shade of red this morning when she was sleeping but he disregarded it as normal because of the hot day.
He was kicking himself when he heard a loud whimper from (reader). He turned around just in time to see her sit up with a dazed look in her eyes.
“(R-reader)! Are you alright? ”
Germany asked (reader) worriedly before thrusting a shirt towards her and told her to change into this as she was drenched in sweat.
She just stared at him for a short moment before taking of her clothes with Germany in the room!
“V-vait! Not now!”
Germany stuttered, blushed a dozen shade of red and threw the shirt on the bed before running out of the room in a hurry.
He sighed in relief once he was out of the room and proceeded towards the kitchen to look for medicine and to make some soup for (reader).
When he had finished and was carrying the tray of pills and soup back up, he saw that she had fallen back to sleep. He blushed when he saw her only in his shirts.
“She…she looks good in that…”
That thought went through his head before he could stop it. Blushing, he went over to the bed, lay the tray down on the side table and leaned over (reader)to wake her up.
“(r-reader)… Vake up. You need to eat something before you can eat your medicine.”
“mmph~ Germany? Where am i?”
(reader) woke up sleepily and sat up while rubbing her eyes.
“you are running a fever. So I bought you to my house. ”
“oh yeah… I was sick today…”
She looked down at her body wondering why she was feeling so weird before realising that she was not in her uniform.
“What the-?!? How come I’m only in a shirt?!”
She shouted out loudly and glared at Germany while blushing.
“No No! I did not change you! You changed yourself!”
Germany objected loudly while flailing his arm frantically in objection.
“Really? I can’t remember…”
(reader) for thought for a moment trying to remember what happen when a jolt of pain shot through her head. Germany concerned increased when he heard her groaned in pain.
He sat on the bed and made her lay against his chest as he fed her slowly.
Feeling tired and weak, (reader) did not object. Instead, she blushed and snuggled into his warm chest.
After she had ate her soup and medicine, she yawned loudly starting to feel sleepy again as Germany lay her down on the bed and covered her with the blanket.
Just as he was about to leave the room, (reader) grabbed his shirt and looked up at him with tear-filled eyes.
“Can…..can you stay here? With me? I don’t want to be alone….”
Germany softened at the sight of her crying and climbed into the bed with her despite his racing heart.
“Ja. I vill stay vith you. So sleep peacefully.”
He started stroking her hair slowly and felt her cuddle into his broad chest while gripping his shirt tightly as though afraid that he might leave. Smiling at her action, he wrapped one arm around her slim waist and placed his other arm under her head as a pillow.
When he thought that she was asleep, he kissed her burning forehead and whispered gently into her ears,
“Gute Nacht und ich liebe dich”
“ich liebe dich auch…”
Germany heard (reader) mumble softly into his shirt. He tensed up and looked down at her. Seeing her asleep again, he smiled happily when he knew that she shared the same feeling as him. Nuzzling his face into her hair, he whispered one last time before drifting off to sleep
“ Ich liebe dich mehr, süße Träume (reader)”
